Oil Well Pad Landslide Repair
Abstract: A wetter than usual spring season caused numerous landslides in the Badland Region of North Dakota, including the failure of the Mormon Butte oil well platform after thirty years of active service. This case study will detail the site investigation, design, and construction of a geologically sensitive site located on U.S. Forest Service land. Minneapolis High School Student Receives Braun Intertec Scholarship
Braun Intertec, in partnership with the Wallin organization, recently awarded Minneapolis Southwest High School student, Mohamed Mohamed, with a college scholarship. At the welcoming reception held in June, our very own Dan Holte welcomed Mohamed as the first Braun Intertec Scholar recipient. Mohamed plans on pursuing a degree in Engineering at the University of St. Thomas in Saint Paul.
