Today, Braun Intertec environmental engineer Kaitlin Ouverson will be recognized as a nominee for the Community Impact Award at the MNCREW celebration awards. This awards ceremony recognizes outstanding women who have displayed leadership, an understanding of the commercial real estate industry and have been a positive influence within their own firms and the greater industry.
MNCREW, Minnesota Commercial Real Estate Women, is an organization whose mission is to transform the commercial real estate industry by advancing women globally. Members of this organization include anyone involved in a real estate transaction such as brokers, developers, general contractors, engineers, attorneys and marketing professionals.
Braun Intertec will also be recognized at this event as a nominee in the Excellence in Environmental/Sustainability category for their phase III work on the Northern Stacks redevelopment project, a 122-acre former Superfund site that is the second largest redevelopment project in Minnesota’s history.
According to MNCREW’s website: the Excellence in Environmental/Sustainability award recognizes MNCREW members who have led or participated in a project that demonstrates significant, measurable milestones in any of the following: energy efficiency, health and wellness, sustainable purchasing, best practices in waste management, best practices in water management, or sustainable best practices for redevelopment that measurably improve or reduce impacts to natural resources or on behalf of the people that inhabit buildings or communities.
Good luck to both Kaitlin and the Northern Stacks redevelopment project team at tonight’s awards ceremony! The ceremony will be at the Como Park Zoo and Conservatory in St. Paul, Minnesota.
