Building a Future Workforce through STEM Education

At Braun Intertec we believe in giving back to the communities in which we serve. That’s why in 2016 we donated office space and resources to Science from Scientists, a non-profit organization that works with teachers, students, administrators and legislators to improve the attitudes and aptitudes of elementary and middle school students in Science, Technology, Education and Math (STEM) fields. Their during-school program supports STEM education with hands-on lessons for students and sends real scientists into the classroom every other week throughout the academic year to improve STEM competency and inspire the next generation of engineers and scientists.

Recently, the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce recognized our partnership with Science from Scientists and our efforts to support STEM education in their Grow Minnesota! quarterly report. Grow Minnesota! is a statewide business retention, assistance and expansion program founded by the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce. The program engages with Minnesota businesses to better understand their needs and concerns as well as identify opportunities to help businesses stay and grow in the state.

Braun Intertec is proud to support Science from Scientists and many other causes that help build strong communities and an engaged workforce. Whether it’s supporting STEM education, environmental or local human services efforts, we believe these charitable giving priorities are a vital part of giving back to our professions as well as our communities.
