FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Minneapolis, MN - October 3, 2017
Braun Intertec, a premier geotechnical engineering, testing and environmental consulting firm, is pleased to announce it has joined forces with GME Consulting Services (GME), a Dallas-based engineering and testing firm.
“As we expand our ability to support clients in new geographic areas, we have sought opportunities to add talent that enhances our services. I am pleased that GME, a highly respected firm, has become part of our team. GME has a strong reputation for building mutually-beneficial, trust-based relationships with its clients and business partners,” says Jon Carlson, CEO of Braun Intertec. “Ultimately, our goal with an acquisition like this is to provide great benefit to our clients and our employee-owners, including our GME team members.”
Founded in 1997, GME Consulting Services is a well-established engineering and testing firm based in Dallas, Texas. The GME team adds local knowledge and depth to the services currently offered by Braun Intertec including geotechnical engineering, construction materials testing and inspections, environmental consulting and physical condition assessments.
“This is an excellent opportunity for our entire team. We both place a high value on maintaining strong client relationships, providing exceptional service and providing meaningful work for our employees,” says Mark Kawalek, PE, founder and principal of GME.
The acquisition added 13 members to the Braun Intertec team. GME Consulting Services will continue to operate as a subsidiary of Braun Intertec. For more information about GME, visit http://gmeconsult.com/ and to learn more about Braun Intertec, visit www.braunintertec.com.
