Josh Kadrmas, a project engineer from our Fargo office, has been selected to speak at the upcoming 2018 South Dakota Engineering Society (SDES) Annual Conference in Sioux Falls on April 4th through the 6th. Drawing in over 200 professional engineers from South Dakota, the annual SDES conference offers numerous presentations across various engineering disciplines.

Environmental Concerns in Construction

On the surface of parking lots and greenspaces there’s usually little evidence to suggest that anything is amiss. But hidden deep within the subsurface, you’ll often find residual contamination from buried structures, storage tanks, or previous site activities. Come listen to Josh share his environmental expertise on what lies beneath the surface in regards to soil investigations and redevelopment, and discover the steps that need to be taken for site remediation.

Josh serves as a professional engineer and scientist with a unique and effective perspective in evaluating data to solve both water resource and environmental problems and also has experience in environmental compliance regulations for wetland mitigation; Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasure plans (SPCC); industrial stormwater; Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), and National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) compliance.
