Josh Kadrmas, a project engineer from our Fargo office, was selected to speak at the 2018 North Dakota Water and Pollution Control Conference in Grand Forks on October 16th. This conference meets jointly with the North Dakota Chapter of the American Public Water Works Association, the North Dakota Water Environment Association, the North Dakota Section of the American Water Works Association and the North Dakota Chapter of the North American Stormwater and Erosion Control Association. In addition to his presentation on environmental concerns in construction, Josh also moderated a panel discussion during the session “Inspection and Field Information Round Table”.
Environmental Concerns in Construction: On the surface of parking lots and greenspaces there’s usually little evidence to suggest that anything is amiss. But hidden deep within the subsurface, you’ll often find residual contamination from buried structures, storage tanks, or previous site activities. Come listen to Josh share his environmental expertise on what lies beneath the surface in regards to soil investigations and redevelopment, and discover the steps that need to be taken for site remediation.
