Heavy Rail

Braun Intertec provides a broad range of services to Class 1 and short line railroads across the United States.  We pride our self in performing our services safely while considering how  field, engineering design and construction activities affect rail operations. We assist our rail clients from design to construction by evaluating geotechnical design alternatives, developing cost estimates, conducting design/constructability reviews, and providing construction management. Our deep understanding of rail activities and engineering principles allows us to provide technically sound, common sense, and cost effective solutions.

We give back to our profession by being actively involved in the American Railway Engineering and Maintenance-of-Way Association (AREMA) and are intimately familiar with the AREMA Manual of Railway Engineering as well as individual railroad requirements.
