Forensic Investigations

Braun Intertec is often asked to provide professional opinions on causes of early deterioration of building materials, such as rot in wood or corrosion of steel structures. The lack of maintenance, improper design, poor workmanship or departures from the construction documents are often the causes of these building defects.
The services we perform utilize all of the testing capabilities at our disposal depending upon the project requirements. Frequently, the goal is to determine the cause and origin of a particular building failure or source of the building failure.
