RCRA Hazardous Waste Management Training

Seminar Overview

Regulations and policies on handling hazardous waste are routinely updated by the EPA and/or delegated state authorities. For this reason, annual training is recommended for personnel who handle or manage hazardous waste. Companies and organizations need to be aware of these changes and implement them to remain in compliance and reduce liability. 

To be of assistance, we will be holding a virtual, interactive training this year from 8:00am -12:00pm on the mornings of November 1st and 2nd, including bite-sized optional sessions covering medical waste, Minnesota-specific, and Texas-specific regulations. 

The training will include the following:

  • Identification and classification of hazardous and industrial waste
  • Waste container handling, management and storage requirements
  • Requirements for hazardous waste generators 
  • Manifests and recordkeeping requirements 
  • Pollution prevention and waste minimization 
  • State-specific information for TX, MN, KS, SD, ND, IA, LA, WI, OK, MO, CO, OH, AR, and GA.

RCRA Training Schedule:  

  • 8:00am -12:00pm CT November 1st RCRA Hazardous Waste Regulations
  • 8:00am -9:00am CT November 2nd Minnesota-Specific Waste Regulations
  • 9:30am – 10:30am CT November 2nd Texas-Specific Waste Regulations
  • 11:00am -12:00pm CT November 2nd Medical Waste Regulations

Meet the Speakers

Jennifer Wolff, PG (MN), CPG, CHMM

Business Unit Leader, Senior Environmental Scientist

Jennifer Wolff is a Senior Scientist and a Business Unit Leader for the Braun Intertec Compliance and Permitting group. She has over 30 years of experience in environmental consulting. Her experience includes investigation and remediation, solid waste permitting, hazardous waste permitting, spill prevention and control, and environmental training. She is a Professional Geologist in Minnesota as well as a Hazardous Materials Manager. 

Elena Ford

Project Scientist

Elena Ford is a Project Scientist for the Braun Intertec Compliance and Permitting group in Fort Worth, Texas. She has 6 years of experience in environmental consulting. Her experience includes hazardous waste permitting, spill prevention and control, stormwater management, and environmental training. She is an Associate Professional Soil Scientist.
