Building Enclosure
From roofing to cladding, vapor barriers to moisture intrusion, the Braun Intertec staff of certified specialists can assess issues related to the exterior/interior barrier or building shell.
Our forensics experts can detect problems that result in leaks and wall system failures. Our testing team does specialty testing across a wide range of issues and recommends targeted solutions. Our understanding of common structural defects and issues equips us with the expertise to address every kind of challenge in building enclosures.

Firestop
Firestop is a key concern in new construction, as well as a matter of interest to school and hospital administrators who must oversee annual safety reviews of existing facilities. A passive resistance measure that prevents fire from traveling through a structure once it has started, firestopping is mandated by building code and plays an important role in overall building safety. All members of the Braun Intertec firestop team have completed the certificate of achievement issued by the International Firestop Council (IFC).

Structures Evaluation
Our independent review of structures zeros in on the bones of the building: concrete, steel, wood, masonry, and more. We can assess structural distress, vibration issues, and other potential problems or concerns early before becoming a larger problem, helping save time and money. When larger problems do occur, our forensics and nondestructive testing capabilities help owners select the best solutions available.
