Randy Deatherage is a Group Manager and Senior Engineer for Braun Intertec in Dallas, Texas. In his nearly 15 years in the industry, Randy has accumulated a broad range of experiences that include geotechnical field sampling and testing, laboratory testing techniques, report preparation and review, soil analysis for foundation design and site development including expansive soils, design of shallow and deep foundation systems, designing of roadways utilizing AASHTO and TxDOT methods, determination of lateral design parameters, and local and global stability analyses. Over the course of his career, he has participated in several forensic geotechnical investigations primarily related to the expansive soils that are prevalent in North and Central Texas. Randy is licensed in Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Maine and Arizona.
