Richard McGuire, PE

Richard McGuire is a principal structural engineer in our Building and Structure Sciences Group with over 35 years’ experience performing structural forensics investigations and testing, and condition surveys of concrete, masonry, and structural steel structures. Richard has specialized practice expertise in structural corrosion evaluations, building enclosure peer reviews and forensics testing, structural restoration and repairs, waterproofing systems, foundations stabilization, and strengthening of historic and modern construction buildings, as well as parking structures, tunnels, stadiums, and special structures. He has authored or co-authored five technical publications, presented nine technical topics at various national and local seminars, and won over 20 awards for projects from technical associations based on his experiences.
