Braun Intertec is pleased to announce Shawn Burk has joined the company as vice president of business technology. Burk brings nearly 25 years of information technology (IT) leadership to the 100% employee-owned geotechnical engineering, environmental consulting, and testing firm.

Burk joins Braun Intertec with experience leading a variety of IT teams in various roles across global environments and multiple industries. He brings a strong mix of strategy, IT project delivery and operations working across applications, infrastructure, data and security including leading significant organizational transformation initiatives.
Before joining Braun Intertec, Burk served in leadership roles at NBC Universal – SportsEngine and Cargill. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Computer Information Systems at Saint Cloud State University. As an active member of the Edina, Minnesota community, Burk has served on the technology advisory team for Edina Public Schools and is a board member and team manager of the Edina Soccer Club.
