W&M Environmental (now a part of Braun Intertec) performed a wide range of environmental services for this former copper wire manufacturer while it was still in operation and after it was shut down and ultimately sold to a real estate investor. We provided a full range of environmental services to this facility while it was in operation including the development of their Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPPs), Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasure (SPCC) plans, asbestos surveys, Petroleum Storage Tank (PST) management, removal and closure of Leaking PSTs (LPSTs), and general regulatory assistance (e.g., waste classification). Following plant shut down, we assisted the client with Phase II sampling, remediation of impacted soil, and closure through the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality’s Corrective Action Program. The Site has been cleaned up and closed and ultimately sold to an investor.
