What is Industrial Hygiene (IH)? Today, the phrase no longer reflects everything the typical IH professional now manages. Recently, industrial hygiene has become more integrated with other disciplines and areas of focus, including risk mitigation, data analysis, chemistry and biology, financial management and insurance, and more.
Andy Britt and Nick Foreman discuss the basics of industrial hygiene, how the industry has evolved over time, and what we can expect to see in the future. Our speakers also cover how changes in the workforce, culture, and regulations have molded industrial hygiene into what it is now and what the modern-day industrial hygienist can do to help your company towards achieving a safe working environment.
