Facilities that manufacture, use, store or handle chemicals, are required by the EPA to create a Risk Management Plan (RMP) and submit it to the EPA for approval. An RMP details onsite chemical storage, the potential effects from an accidental release, who might be affected by the release, how the release is being minimized, and what the emergency response will be should there be an accidental release. OSHA safety regulations also require a Process Safety Management (PSM) similar to the EPA’s requirements.
We are experienced in assessing the RMP and PSM programs to determine if you are in compliance, and will help develop programs to attain compliance.
